When You Need A Blogging Break

I think blog burn out happens to the best of us.

Sometimes, it lasts for a few days or a few weeks.

Regardless of how long it lasts, it’s okay to step away and re-focus your energy. In my case, I needed to “clear my head” so to speak. It gave me a chance to focus on other areas of my life and work on getting my priorities back on track.

Here’s a few ways to get your mojo back on when you are ready to jump back in….

  1. Set aside time to read a few of your favorite blogs. Focus on what brings you back to the same blogs over and over again. Can you learn something from that and apply it to your own blogging career.
  2. Start out slowly. Maybe just start out by updating your social media accounts. Then jump back into your favorite blogging groups for accountability.
  3. Learn to journal your thoughts and goals to help clear your mind.
