Adding a packet of vanilla pudding to this chocolate chip cookies recipe makes these the softest, butteriest cookie that makes my family happy! I love them and honestly, it’s hard not to eat the entire pan in one sitting. I’m sure ya’ll never do that, right?
Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe With Pudding
You’ll notice to added ingredients not traditionally found in cookie recipes: pudding (instant) and almond extract. The first time I tried the almond extract in my cookies blew my mind! It just adds that something extra and really bring out the vanilla flavoring in the cookies!
- 1 Cup Butter, softened
- 1/2 Cup brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup White Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/2 Teaspoon Almond Extract
- 1 Small Pkg. Instant Vanilla Pudding
- 2 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
Soften the butter and add sugars. Let set for just a minute. Then add vanilla, almond extract and eggs. Add pudding, flour, salt and baking soda. Mix until well incorporated. Fold in chocolate chips.
Bake on a stone bake ware or cookie sheet for 10 to 11 minutes at 350. When you remove them from the oven, lest them rest for 2 to 3 minutes.
Tips: I personally like to use salted butter for my cookie recipes. I also like to bake with sea salt! As for the chocolate chips, I prefer semi-sweet or dark chocolate. But, go for what your family likes!! Oh, and you could always add just a few more chocolate chips to this recipe. I don’t think anyone would mind!
