One way to reduce stress is to find ways simplify your life. Today, I’m sharing a few organized room ideas that will help you get your life on track!
#1 Start With Daily Room Resets
This is one of my favorite strategies to staying on top of clutter. I love to have daily room resets. The idea is that each day go into each room of your house and spend 5 to 10 minutes focusing on putting items back where they belong. If you keep your home tidy in small cleaning spurts you will find yourself less stress and overwhelmed.
#2 Invest in Simple Organizational Buckets or Boxes
I love to buy small buckets and boxes from the local dollar store. I use these to keep smaller items in one collected area. This is such an easy organized room strategy! For example, I keep three white buckets in our pantry. These hold small bags of snacks, nuts, crackers, etc.
#3 Have Seasonal Room De-Clutter Sessions
I recommend de-cluttering each room in your house each season. Get rid of broken or worn out items. Go through magazines and newspapers. Go through old mail. Sell items that you no longer need to earn extra money. Pair down, take a deep breath, and enjoy a more streamlined homemaking routine.
#4 Invest In Storage Cubes or Rolling Carts
One way to keep rooms organized is to invest in storage cubes or rolling carts. In our school room, we have a rolling cart to keep extra items that don’t really have a place in the house. Other ideas for using rolling carts: make a rolling diaper cart if you have little ones.
